Sunset at Devil’s Slide Trail

After a long and brutal surf session, I wanted to hike something easy with stunning views of the coast and sunset, Devil’s Slide Trail was perfect.

Devil’s Slide Trail was completed in March 2014 and offers hikers, mountain bikers and pretty much anyone looking for a romantic sunset to end the day with easy access to the California coast. The trail is 1.2 miles long and depending on where you start, you will have access to parking on either side.

Devil’s Slide Trail is not only perfect for couples, but is also dog friendly!

If you’re in San Mateo County and want something to do, I highly recommend taking stop at Devil’s Slide Trail. Easy access to parking, plenty of space and right off of Highway 1 connecting Half Moon Bay and Pacifica. The trail is an addition to the California Coastal Trail extending from Oregon to Mexico with over 1,200 miles of coastline to be had.

A nice quick and easy date activity. The trail closes at 5:00pm, so make sure you come early.
